New! My memoir just out 11-28-12!

Just out!  My new book!  Something of Value is a memoir of a year in my life in which my geriatric dog and I lived in Maine with my elderly mother.  We experienced times to laugh and times to cry but always, in the end, I learned to count them all good.  I learned a lot about my mother that I didn't know.  (Mostly I'm not sure I ever really wanted to, either!)  My dog provided us both with stories to retell (bless her doggy soul for lasting most of that year).  Things happened that year as much as to say, "Write about this or else you'll regret it!"  And you know what?  As it turns out, the best thing I learned was to value myself, not an easy lesson given the heartache I was carrying with me.


This 178 page book is an honest peek into my heart and soul.  And if you choose to read it, I will treasure always the fact that you chose to walk along side me for a little while.  Bless you!

Are You Serious?

Are You Serious? is intended for young and younger minds alike. Beginning in perhaps Kindergarten through any age still asking big questions, the reader will enjoy listening to young Sophie's queries. Readers might even enjoy thinking through their own answers to Sophie's questions as well as the fifteen extra questions posed at the end of the book. Whether this book is read alone or in the company of a loved one, my hope is that it will draw readers closer to the God they hold in their hearts.
